Hello there:)

D. Ana is your teacher, of course:)

Yeah... that you know already, so here's some more information:

I was born in Lisbon, Portugal

Due to my father's job I lived in many wonderful countries like Brazil, Angola, Belgium, France and Morocco...beautiful places.

I am married and have two children. Katya is 14 , and Andre is 11 years old .

I have been teaching for the last 20 years both in Portugal and in here.

I have many pets. A cat, a dog, 4 budgies and many tropical fish.

I like to read, write and paint.

I also like camping, hiking, canoeing, swimming and riding my bike.

I love all kinds of music but I'm an oldie so my favorites are classical, jazz and plain old rock and roll.

I also like some of the real Portuguese music - not the commercial stuff -  and any music with African roots.

I like to work with computers and to make web pages and graphics.

I like jokes and to have fun, even in class sometimes, as long as everyone realizes  fun time is a privilege, not a right.

I hate violence in any form, lack of respect and rudeness - there's no excuse for any of those things.

I don't like any of the common "isms"- racism , ageism, ect.- and tend to think that it's in school that people first get a chance to learn not only how to deal with them but also to respect each individual as part of the human race regardless of differences in color, religion, culture etc.

And I guess that's about it, please continue your visit to this site you will find many different things to explore, and if you get lost you can always go trough the site map, that should help.

Have a great school year!

As with the other pages the music you are listening to is Portuguese.

This one if from a group called "Jafumega"  and has a more latin beat.

It's called "latinoamerica" and I got it from Midi Portugal.
